Here’s a summary of our Club structure & activities.

Our Junior Varsity Club is for students ages 8-12

Ambassador Club has a vibrant Junior Varsity Club for ages 8 - 12, where the students are trained in numerous speech events, including Apologetics, appropriate for their age. They are also trained in Junior Varsity level Team Policy Debate with a resolution appropriate for their age & in Student Congress where they learn elementary parliamentary procedure, how to write their own bills & how to debate & vote for or against them.

Our Senior Varsity Club is for students ages 13 + up

We have a great group of Senior Varsity students who are trained in a variety of speech events, including Dramatic & Humorous Interpretive speeches, Original Oratory, & Persuasive speeches, Expository Speeches where illustrated boards, physical props, digital & electronic presentations can be used, Limited Prep speeches; Apologetics, Mars Hill, Impromptu, Extemporaneous & the Wild Card event; Slam Poetry. All of these are taught, explained and available for your students.

Experienced coaches train our new students & experienced students, as they develop their research, reasoning, logic, & speaking skills. Novice debaters, those new to debate, begin with excellent training in Team Policy Debate, Lincoln Douglas Value Debate, Parliamentary Debate as well as Student Congress.

While experienced SV students participate in Team Policy Debate, they also have the option to participate in Lincoln-Douglas Value & Parliamentary Debate. All Senior Varsity students, novice & experienced, are also trained to compete in Student Congress, writing their own bills, becoming skilled in parliamentary procedure.
